28.09.2007 - Galway, Ireland
Visit the EU Diversity Truck!
Where: Claddagh Quay/Grattan Road
When: 11am – 4pm
We are all different – fortunately! The European Union has reinforced anti-discrimination legislation to make sure that everyone is treated equally, whatever their sex, racial or ethnic origin, religion or belief, disability, age or sexual orientation. To find out more about these rights and to celebrate the 2007 European Year of Equal Opportunities for All, visit the Stop-Discrimination Truck.
The Truck will stop in Galway on Friday, 28th September on the Irish leg of its Europe-wide tour to promote diversity and combat discrimination in employment. Live on the Truck stage: Use your chance and take part in free workshops to learn more about the benefits of diversity and antidiscrimination legislation. Test your senses and master the course of the Ability Park. Participate in fun activities like the “Team up for Diversity” game show and the “Diversity Idol” karaoke contest to win concert vouchers and mp3 players.
